 Richard WELCH (North-Eastern Metropolitan) (09:59): Last weekend it was an absolute pleasure to attend the Asian Business Association of Whitehorse business awards night at Crown. It was a magnificent event overseen by Bihong Wang and Richard Shi. They did a great job in highlighting the incredible business talent that we have across the North-Eastern Metro Region. Congratulations to all the award winners. It was great to see Jess Wilson give a keynote speech, and in a business environment they were very, very pleased to hear about tax cuts and that we would have a better business environment going forward. It was great to attend with our fantastic candidate for Glen Waverley Jacky Sun, who would be, if elected, the first mainland Chinese-born Australian to be in this Parliament, which I think would be an exceptional outcome, and also our candidate for Box Hill Sally Houget, who is also from a strong business background. I think that augurs well for the future.
