That the report The Status of Victoria’s Koala Population: Surveys to Estimate Abundance, Genetic Diversity and Koala Health be tabled.

David Davis: On a point of order, President, this report, as I understand it, relates to a documents order that is forthcoming. Is that correct?

Members interjecting.

David Davis: So this is preparatory. I am just indicating that the chamber welcomes the provision of documents that are the subject of documents orders, but it should be extended to many documents that are outstanding.

The PRESIDENT: That is not a point of order.

Jaclyn Symes: On the point of order, President, Mr Davis’s point is irrelevant. Yes, I am tabling a document. Yes, there is a motion. This is not in anticipation of the motion; this is in the ordinary business of ensuring that the report is being tabled today. So any connection is convenient.

David Davis interjected.

The PRESIDENT: Maybe this can be fleshed out during the general business item on this particular issue.
