Questions without notice and ministers statements

David LIMBRICK (South-Eastern Metropolitan) (12:00): (1469) My question is for the Premier in the other place. It was announced recently that due to community expectations a statue of Victoria’s 48th Premier will not be put up in Treasury Place. However, according to some reports, the statue of that man has already been made. It was also announced in the media release that the contract would not be cancelled. So my question to the Premier is: how much has this project already cost?
Jaclyn SYMES (Northern Victoria – Minister for Energy and Resources, Minister for Environment, Minister for Climate Action, Minister for the State Electricity Commission) (12:01): Thank you, Mr Limbrick. I will pass the question on to the Premier.
David LIMBRICK (South-Eastern Metropolitan) (12:01): I thank the member for passing that on. My supplementary question is: will any money be saved by not installing the statue, and if so, how much?
Jaclyn SYMES (Northern Victoria – Minister for Energy and Resources, Minister for Environment, Minister for Climate Action, Minister for the State Electricity Commission) (12:01): Thank you, Mr Limbrick. I will pass your supplementary question on, along with your first question.
